The Dress
This dress is super elegant, sleek, sexy, and comfortable. I felt incredible in this dress and was able to dress it up with a veil for the ceremony and then remove the bow and bustle it for the reception, which revealed cute little buttons. The fabric has enough give and stretch to freely dance but enough structure to keep you feeling contained and supported. I have a 32D bra size and felt supported even though the dress is completely backless. Speaking of backless.... The back of this dress is definitely the star of the show. I love my back, so I knew I wanted something that showed it off, and I absolutely LOVED the romantic bow for the ceremony and the buttons for the afterparty, however you could keep the bow on when you bustle it for dancing if you want.
Alterations
I got very small alterations made to the original Grace Loves Lace gown that was a size Small. I took the waist in ~2 inches, shortened the straps ~ 1/ inch, and got it hemmed to fit me perfectly with 4 inch heels (I am 5'5'' barefoot). After my wedding, I got the dress dry-cleaned and they ran it five times to make sure to get any stains and smudges out.
