The Dress
I bought this dress in a sample sale at a shop in Hale, Cheshire in 2010. My partner and I were already married & planned to have a wedding party at a later date (due to me getting pregnant x 2) and this is what I bought the dress for. The party hasn’t ever happened and we had a big 40th instead!
The dress has never been worn or altered. It has been tried on in the shop but hasn’t got any marks on it and there is no damage to it.
My daughter is modelling the dress in the pictures and she is a size 8-10. It is slightly too big on her and would need taking in by a couple of inches. The dress is labelled a 12 but I would say it is on the small side for a 12.
It has a lovely pool of lace at the back and a lovely satin sheath underneath. The beaded panel on the front is separate and could very easily be removed to create a plain lace dress.
