The Dress

Melbourne designer hand made dress, purchased from Mariana Hardwick in Brunswick (just before they moved to South Melbourne). The dress is really well made with high quality fabric and lining, its a classic style that will always look gorgeous. Its sort of half way between mermaid and trumpet, but has draping fabric so its not too dramatic. The fabric is heavier than some dresses so it works well for a winter or spring wedding. We married in September in Hobart and I wasn't cold (nor was I too hot), it was just right.

Stunning embroidery details on the bodice and panels continue through the skirt. Boned but very comfortable to wear and really flattering. The bust and waist area are boned so don't stretch, but the fabric in the hip area does have some stretch. Mid-length train, with a loop inside the dress so that you can carry the train. I felt like an absolute dream in this dress, it's so pretty.

Only worn once, professionally dry cleaned in a box (cleaning cost $650 and is included in the listed price for this dress). I loved this dress, but we are moving overseas so it has to go. Available to try on in Pascoe Vale South, open to offers - price reduced

Alterations

The dress was taken up in length but is otherwise not altered. There is some hem that could be let down.
