The Dress

This dress is one of a kind and completely unique! I bought this dress at a privately owned occasions store that designs their own dresses and fell in love! The dress was too big for me so I got it professionally tailored. I am normally a 0 or 00 in stores, and am borderline "petite" - 5'4" tall and about 110 lbs, bra size is 34A. I wore flat shoes with a minimal sole. The dress is floor length. I never felt like I tripped on it. It is fitted all the way through the torso and cups in slightly under the butt, then let's out into the train which gives an amazing shape.

The train is lace only (no liner) which looks gorgeous trailing behind you especially on grass if you will be having an outdoor wedding but would also look great indoors on a nice rug. The lace also slightly hangs over the front liner so you can see the scalloped edging. You can easily bustle it up with a gold safety pin for dancing and the lace is super light you so don't feel weighed down. There is a clasp at the top of the back zipper so you don't have to worry about it popping open.

As far as wear on the dress, there is a tiny tear, about 1 cm, where the lace sleeve joins the top of the dress on the left side, but that is easily mended. The bottom of the train also had a tiny bit of dirt on it from being outside, but the cleaners got most of it out and it absolutely won't be noticeable when you're wearing it. I love this dress so much and wish I could wear it again! It's handmade and completely one of a kind - I hope someone else gets to enjoy this dress as much as I did!
