The Dress

This gown is from the Allure Romance collection. I would describe it as a light champagne color with an ivory lace overlay. It features a slim fitting silhouette with an A-line skirt, a beautiful strapless sweetheart neckline, a figure flattering bodice featuring Swarovski crystals and delicate lace detail, as well as an accenting waistband at the natural waist. This gown has a beautiful chapel length train and zipper back closure with covered buttons (accented with Swarovski crystals every 4th button).

I was blown away by this dress in the boutique I bought it in. Although it's never been worn (it was a back up dress in case the one I was hand making with my mother didn't work out) it does have some loose beading since it was a sample dress. (Which I've heard is something that can be easily fixed.) No alterations have been made. It was dry cleaned before given to me since it had been tried on at the boutique by lots of cooing women.

It really is lovely. The satin, beading (that is a nice mix of sparkle and pearls), and lace detail just gives it a romantic feel.

Like I said, no alterations were made. I'm 5'10" and wear a size 6 dress, size 8 pants, 34 B bra size (I did wear some inserts when trying the dress on to fill out the bust. So I see it fitting 34 C-D as is). This dress fit like a glove. If you'd like to see more photos or have other questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

*Update: the dress fell off the hanger and the beading created a couple tiny snags in the satin.
