The Dress

The beautiful, ethereal Luvi dress from Oscar de la Renta's is from Oscar de la Renta's Spring Summer 2018 collection, and was purchased and tailored at the top luxury bridal salon in San Francisco. Layers of whisper-weight, light ivory silk tulle are adorned hand-painted jasmine embroidery down the full skirt of this beautiful gown. The silhouette is further reinforced with horsehair for shape and lined in smooth silk-organza. Cups around the chest area and a light, ivory lining were added for modesty, allowing the sunlight to capture the elegance of each step without revealing the skin within.

I wore this dress only for the ceremony in Summer 2022 - the dress was shipped next-day after wedding and cleaned professionally with small repairs completed by Heritage Garment Preservation. The dress comes with its original Oscar de la Renta hanger and garment bag.

A cathedral length veil with a blusher, worn for only an hour and worth a few hundred USD, is included. Additionally, I also had a narrow belt made with the same hand-embroidery as the dress custom-made for $200 but never worn for any bride seeking to further enhance her waist.
