The Dress

This is a sweetheart strapless full length gown. The bodice is in silk and the bottom is a full skirt in layers of French Tulle. The skirt has tiny crystals that reflect beautifully in the sun but very subtle (a bit difficult to see the full effect in the photos).

I bought the dress as a UK size 10/EU 38 but the sides were very slightly taken in (I was between a size 8 and 10 at the time but wanted the bodice to feel tight and secure). It would fit a size 8 or 10 as the back laces up so can be tightened or loosened as needed. I also had breast cups sewn in which enhances the breast and gives them a lift; I felt very secure; no need for a bra. The dress was dry cleaned days after the wedding (receipt for dry cleaning kept) and is just like new (no damage and no stains).

The dress, although multiple layers, wasn’t heavy to wear on the day and I could move around very easily. It was 26 degrees and sunny on our wedding day and I wasn’t too hot in my dress during the outdoor cocktail party. This beautiful dress made me feel amazing on my wedding day and now I hope that it can make someone else feel just as special on their day.

I am 165cm tall and wore 8 inch heels on the day and the dress was to the ground (1cm above)
