The Dress

I didn’t buy the optional capped sleeves as I felt the dress was more young & modern without them.

The dress is a size 10 but the corset makes it very versatile in terms of size. I made the following alterations: Length taken up – I am 168cm & wore small to medium sized heels. Bust inserts were added (I am usually 12D). Also taken in at the sides/bust as this area was originally very generous. Bustle hooks were added so it could be bustled up after the ceremony for dancing.

I paid $2100 for the dress, plus alterations and professional cleaning.

The dress was worn once and is in excellent condition. It has been dry cleaned & has no rips or stains.

I found the dress comfortable to wear & could sit & dance easily. I received many comments on how flattering the dress was. I really loved wearing this dress & felt like a princess on my wedding day.
