Layers below the waist: main layer, then a lining. 3 fabrics are attached to the lining about 20 inches from the hem. There is a thin netting, then crinoline. The final layer underneath the crinoline is a smooth, slippery slip.

This was not my dress; I don't know if it's been altered. It has not been dry cleaned. It is clean, but could use ironing or steaming to remove wrinkles.
The mannequin is about a size 16, so the dress fits her a little big.
