The Dress

Magic, that is what I felt like on my wedding day. It was a surreal experience.

I was lucky to get a brand new designer gown, in the style I wanted, and had an ever so helpful attendant to work with.
What I have above for sale is a fitted lace gown from La Sposa with a soft Sweetheart neckline.
This dress was purchased brand new from Rafaelle Ciuca, who is just the best.

Early this year, I purchased the dress here in Melbourne before taking off to my destination wedding in Goa, which is a beautiful beach town on the west cost of India. The wedding ceremony took place close to a garden ridge overlooking the sea at the resort Cidade De Goa. It was my dream wedding and the day I put all the dress made me feel like a princess.

I wore the dress for a few hours for the ceremony. And then I packed the dress in its designer travel suitcase which I purchased specifically to keep the dress safe at all times. From the wedding in Goa, we travelled to our honeymoon in Spain. So you could say that we took the dress back home for holiday as well :)

Through our flight journeys, the Emirates staff were always very accommodating by keeping the wedding dress travel suitcase within the first class locker, even though we travelled economy.

Once I was based back into Victoria, I had the dress dry-cleaned following the wedding at Syndal's Bridal Dry Cleaner here in Melbourne. I have the receipts for the dress and the dry cleaning.

Today my husband & I have moved into a new larger home and our expecting our first child in March, here in Mont Albert. We have been truly blessed. The dress has been with me for through the most exciting moments of my life. It will be hard to see this beautiful dress go.

It has given me so many memories and some would say brought me even a bit of luck.
I guess, it is time the dress made somebody else feel the way I felt.
