The Dress
The iconic Long Cocotte is a gown with great historical influence. The corset and neckline are inspired by fashionable high society women of the 18th century and the fabric, which sweeps across the shoulders, drapes, and falls from the hip, is reminiscent of ancient Greek statues. Fabric is heavy silk satin.
I loved wearing this dress on my wedding day! It was very comfortable to wear throughout my wedding ceremony, reception dinner, and dancing. The corset provides support at the bust and waist (no need for a bra), while the lower part is looser with a flattering drape. This dress has a hidden waterfall bustle- I would suggest practicing the bustle before wedding day!
