The Dress

A timeless, classic beauty that stands out for its elegance and luxury. Figure hugging in all the right places without being a tight fit. This dress made me feel amazing on my wedding day. The pearl style buttons from the top to bottom of the back of the dress are stunning. The low pleated back material is just beautiful. I loved the twist material front at the chest area as this is a more rare style of wedding dress design. I am sad I won't be able to stare at the beauty of this dress when it sells but equally excited to see someone else fall in love with it.

Hera Couture custom made this dress for me - I loved the Yvette style from the Avant Garde collection from the first time I tried it on but the cloud-style hemline was heavy and impractical for me so Hera Couture custom made it to have the Le Chic style skirt. I paid $4140 for this dress with the custom variation.

Yvette is tradition with a twist and showcases the technical expertise of the Hera Atelier. The drop shoulder fabric seamlessly flows into a Mikado pleated bust and subtle ‘V’ back which is finished with a fabric wrapped button closure. Silky drill satin glows and reflects light, while a subtle belt defines the waist.

I believe the dress is a size 10 but please check out my measurements as there's no size label on the dress, tag or invoice. I can't rule out it's an 8 but believe it's size 10.

If you want to purchase the veil I wore with this dress, it would cost an extra $100. I purchased the Hera Couture Mara single tier full length veil for $220. I can send you photos of veil if interested.

Alterations

I spent $313 on alterations - these included bra cups being sewn into the dress so you don't have to wear a bra on the day. I am a DD, you could have the bra changed if necessary. The dress was also slightly shortened, waist slightly taken in, classic ribbon bustle was added on the inside of the dress, some thread was added to the back of dress for a second bustle (see dancefloor pic) and the off the shoulder sleeves were taken in slightly to make them sit better.
I spent $192.50 on dry cleaning and having one pearl button sewn back on - this button was at the back of the waist where the second bustle was held up around the button. A spare button and the material that was taken off the dress hemline are attached in a packet to the dress bag.
