The Dress

Stunning Suzanne Neville Lady Wedding Dress, Size 12
Silk Taffeta with a tulle under skirt and a satin lining

Listed as a size 12 (on the label but its a small 12). I have listed the measurements below for reference.

Bought in 2014 for my wedding. I wanted something classic and timeless, and this dress still looks incredible today.

The dress is the perfect silhouette to accessories with a stunning belt, and a full length veil (which how i wore it).

The dress can be worn in three ways throughout the day and evening:

1. With an underskirt (which comes with the dress) providing a breath taking high impact bridal look (for walking down the aisle)
2. Without an underskirt creating a softer more streamlined A line silhouette
3. With a tucked train creating a waterfall effect at the back of the dress for dancing in the evening

I am a 32DD and did not need to wear a bra as the built in corset and the scooped neckline and boning built into the dress supported me perfectly.

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned straight after the wedding. There is a tiny sitch mark on the bodice of the dress (which i have indicated with a pin to show the scale). There is also a stain on the skirt which which unfortunately couldn't be removed due to the delicate nature of the silk which i was incredibly upset about. I spoke with my seamstress who shorted the dress for me and she created a pleat in the skirt to hide the mark (which i have shown on the photos and in the video).
It would also benefit from a steam as the train has got slightly wrinkled from where I have stored it in the dress bag. There are also three buttons missing from the back which could easily be replaced ( i am limited to x8 photos in the listing)

Purchased in 2014 and originally it retailed for around £3000 the dress required no custom fitting or bespoke work other than length adjustment, to shorten as I am 5 ft 5 but wore with 4 ‘’ heels on the day. Otherwise is exactly as originally delivered from Suzanne Neville with the exception of the tak stitch to create the pleat.
