The Dress

This Madi Lane 'Maddox' dress was an absolute DREAM to wear. It's made from a super thick crepe material with multiple layers that just hugs you in all the right places. It's sooooo flattering. It has been professionally dry cleaned by Syndal's Bridal Dry Cleaners in Melbourne ($500 - can show certificate) and comes with the original gown bag. The top half has boning AND moulded cups built-in, so you don't need to wear a bra at all (even with bigger boobs like mine). It was just amazing.

For size reference, I'm usually a 10 on top, and a 10 or 12 around the hips depending on brand. I'm 170cm tall and with 2.5inch heels it was a perfect length so unaltered length (see more below).

Both the floppy bow and the shoulder cape are removable, so you can have one, both or neither. Eg. I had both for the ceremony, then removed the cape bit and left the bow on for the rest.

ALTERATIONS:
Very minor alterations - approx. 1 inch brought in at the bust, which can be taken back out if needed. I'm usually a 10DD/12DD and still had ample room for the girls. No alterations to the waist, hips or length. And a bustle was added on the inside of the dress to secure it up when dancing.

The figure hugging fishtail gown accentuates curves with the crepe falling against all the right places before pouring into a beautiful train. Maddox oozes charisma with her somewhat simplistic gown becoming a crowd pleaser with a large bow draping over her shoulder. A detachable cape is attached underneath the hero bow allowing soft chiffon to billow behind. Maddox dazzles and romances her bride, as she celebrates her special day.
