The Dress

This Willowby By Watters Hearst Gown was the perfect blush color I was looking for in a wedding gown. In some lights it looks white, and in others you can see an "oh so subtle," pink hue. Our wedding was in the Santa Cruz redwoods and the dress absolutely popped in our photos. It looked super cute with a jean jacket as well. The neckline is sexy, but not too low and the sheer waist also looks amazing in photos. The train was also a perfect length to be able to get around for our Redwood photo shoot. The details are by far the most spectacular. I purchased mine at Beholden and have included the tags with it as well.

Alterations

It was professionally altered and bustled to fit me perfectly. Alterations including taking in the straps just a bit so that my chest would be supported and I could show just the right amount of cleavage. (I'm barely a B cup, but did add inserts in it as well.) Additionally, I had the fasteners in the back strengthened and the length taken up less than an inch. I'm 5'6" and wore 4" heels, but wanted my shoes to show just a bit for our photos. The bustling is subtle 5 point bustle and kept it off the ground. We had it professionally cleaned and pressed as there was a bit of dirt on the train from our ceremony in the redwoods, but they were able to clean it quite well.
