The Dress
I bought this dress at Alice in Ivory in Chicago end of 2018/received 2019. The dress was worn one time on 8/3/2019 and has been professionally cleaned, so it looks like new in the garment bag. I fell in love with the dress for the low back and how comfortable it was. I loved the mix of sparkle and lace and it looked BEAUTIFUL in photos whether we were outside or inside. I called Alice & Ivory and they said the dress is a size 40 which is equivalent to a 6-8 size before alterations, but more closely to a 6.
Alterations
There were alterations done to hem the length (I wore ~3 inch heels). Additionally, there were minor alterations to the bust/neckline so that the dress wasn't quite so high on my neck. I am a 32C and the dress also needed to be pulled in a little so that it was form fitting on top (there was just extra fabric making it too big). There were alterations to put in a bustle and sew in cups.
