The Dress
Selling my Marquise Bridal ‘The Victoria’ dress. Purchased from the Ivory Room Bridal Sydney. The Victoria is a lightweight but heavily embellished sequin gown. The bodice is structured and boned with bust cups. The bottom is finished with a cross over split and I had cosmetic buttons added to the back along the zip line.
You get the best of both worlds with this dress! Add a veil for the ceremony and you have a stunning, elegant gown. Then transition over to reception and you have the perfect party dress. The skirt also had a wrist tie added for dancing. This silhouette hugs the body perfectly.
The dress is in near new condition. It has some sequins missing from normal wear and tear (normal for sequinned fabric). This is not noticeable. Dry cleaned by My Dress Box. Original Marquise Bridal gown bag will be included with the dress.
Located roughly an hour out of Sydney. Try on’s welcome. More photos of the dress can be sent upon request :)
Alterations
Please note I paid an additional $1400 in alterations on top of the listed retail price. The dress slit was taken up to sit higher on the thigh, the zip was replaced as the original wasn’t strong, bust cups were added, the straps had to taken up, and the bodice needed to be taken in. Whilst Marquise Bridal take your measurements when ordering brand new, the dress will never be made to fit your body perfectly.
