The Dress

This is a Malia dress by Enzoani which is still current and can be viewed on the Enzoani website where there are more photos that show off the detail.
It's classed as a Mermaid shape on the website but actually it's fitted to your bum and then flares out below which doesn't match the Stillwhite description of Mermaid hence me selecting Trumpet instead. The ruching on the back really flatters and enhances your bum and was one of the key features I fell in love with. The train is a good length to drape out for photos and a dramatic walk down the aisle but with the loops I had added it's also easy to bustle up in the evening if you want to move more freely.
The lace V-neck and added cups give good support & cleavage for even a flatter chest and the boning helps support the cups and your stomach. Delicate floral lace appliques are placed onto the bodice cascading down to the hips and the stretch georgette allows for freedom of movement whilst looking fitted.
I loved the style of the Malia dress and the ruching on the rear but also loved the detail of the back of the Enzoani Nazneen dress so I got the best of both worlds, having the back lowered to a plunge, with added fine delicate beaded straps. This made the dress unique and I felt stunning in it. Putting the dress on is easy with the covered buttons, and an invisible zipper and it was actually very comfortable- I wore it from 12 in the afternoon until 2am and because of the open back and the stretch to the fabric I never felt constrained and managed to pull all my favorite moves on the dance floor.
I had the dress dry cleaned a few weeks after my wedding. There were no spillages or anything to clean up but my fake tan had rubbed off around the bust area and the underside of the train was a little grubby. This all came up perfectly from the dry cleaning and I was actually really impressed with how well it came back.
I initially wanted to keep my dress forever as I absolutely love it and hands down I looked the best I ever have wearing it but after a year I decided actually it was a shame for it to sit boxed up in the loft and far better for it to make someone else feeling amazing so I'm hoping I can find it a good home :-)

Alterations

Boning added to Bodice by Enzoani
Back lowered to plunge and fine beaded straps added to back
Taken up in length to drape perfectly over heels (I'm 5'4" & wore 4" heels)
Nazneen cups added to give cleavage without a bra (I'm normally a 34a)
Invisible loops added to bustle the dress up in the evening
Diamante belt hand sewn to the waist- this can be easily removed if not wanted
