The Dress

This dress is a curvy girls dream. When I put Fiona on at the VW salon in Chicago, I felt like a celebrity walking the red carpet. It’s glamorous, classy, elegant and a bit dramatic/edgy all in one. Fits your body like a glove and accentuates your figure in all the right places, like the feeling of wearing your favorite pair of jeggings (I'm serious!) For larger bust women (I’m a 36C), this beautiful asymmetrical neckline is great because it slightly covers the chest and holds you in so you aren’t pulling your dress up all night. The fabric has stretch in it so you don’t feel stuffed in and it contracts when you move and eat (if you even have time for that!) The bodice has asymmetric folds that slim you and a hidden side zipper for easy on/off and a beautiful seamless back view. The skirt is light, flows nicely and has a really cool ombre effect to the deconstructed silk pieces with lighter colored tulle underneath with numbered pickups for the train. I felt the most beautiful I have ever felt in this dress on my wedding day and I want to share that with someone else. I never thought I could afford a designer gown but once you try them on, you just cannot compare the fit and fabric.

The dress is in mint condition. It as professionally altered at the VW bridal salon, slightly taken in at the waist and D bra cups added (I'm a 36C) which can easily be removed. I am 5'7, wore 4 inch heels and measurements are approx. 36 chest, 29 waist, 40 hips. It was professionally dry cleaned in Chicago by the VW recommended cleaner, I can provide receipts. Crystal handmade sash and cathedral length veil are also available if you like. Try-on is possible for Chicagoland area brides.

This dress will suit a variety of wedding venues. We were married in a cathedral and held our reception in an unfinished loft space.
