Beautiful, unique ivory and black dress. I got SO many compliments on this dress from everyone who saw me in it. This is a VERY special dress. Unfortunately they no longer make this dress because it is amazing. People still talk about “The Dress.”
I brought this in to be professionally cleaned and packaged 2 days after the wedding. The box has not been opened since that day.
Precious lace appliques layered throughout this unique misty tulle A-line style add a touch of elegance. Poppy also offers a subtly scooped strapless neckline draped with tulle. Gentle hand-beading, lace appliques and diamond tulle throughout the dropped waist bodice and down the full skirt with chapel length train create a sparkling effect. A corset back closure and removable straps add the finishing touches.
A color coded bustle was added. The train folds up to make the dress look like a floor length.
Alterations
It was shortened to my 5’5” height with small heels. Maybe 1.5 inches cut off. A bustle was added which just folds the train inside and makes it look like a floor length dress.
