Now let's talk about lace. Two layers of ivory lace - an oversized statement stencil rose embroidery with an under-layer of fine open-thread geometric lace. This dress has an ivory slip that's soft and smooth against the skin creating texture, variety of pattern and a sense of intrigue.

This dress was made to order and with GLL sizing, you'll find this stretchy material is always to a 5cm range that your measurements fall within.

This dress is sized S at the bust (suits 84.5-89cm) with removable padding to cup, M at the waist (suits 71-75.5cm), S at the hip (suits 96-100.5cm). My shoulder to floor is 138cm (without shoes) and I wore 7cm heels.

I had a simple ivory button attached to the back with a hidden loop hole within the middle seam so I could do all my signature moves on the dance floor.

My wedding was a barn wedding with lots of dirt, grass, twigs... you get the idea. I had this dressed dry-cleaned the next day and it came up an absolute treat!

Lastly, I love this dress. And besides how beautiful it made me feel wearing it, how comfortable it was and easy to slip into - the best part? Pop this beauty on a coat hanger the night before, and ALL the creases just fall out. What more could a bride want!
