The Dress
From Van Der Velde's Bloem collection, this dress is sexy yet elegant with its flattering sheer lace details on the chest, side, arms and back. The train is show-stopping, but can be bustled for your reception.
I think lace is always tricky as you want something high-quality and not cheesy. The lace on this dress is incredible up close with beaded embellishments to make your dress sparkle as you walk. Pearl buttons run along the back of the dress.
I'm just jealous you get to have it for less than half of what I paid!
Alterations
To make it more custom, I invested an additional $2000 in alterations to my wedding dress to add more embellishments to the chest area so it looked more chic and classic.
The dress was also taken in around the hip area to be more fitted and accentuate the butt. The silhouette is a cross between a trumpet and mermaid. The dress can be bustled at the waist.
