The Dress

This dress is elegant, comfortable, and truly a joy to be in. I chose Wear Your Love for their organic cotton linings and gorgeous long-stemmed rose lace features. This dress did not disappoint. Plus (thanks to the organic cotton lining) throughout our ceremony, photography session and through the rest of the night, I was so comfortable! There was no point when I felt like I was ready to get out of the dress. It was honestly one of the most comfortable dresses I've ever worn. I paired it with an ivory cashmere shawl in the evening to keep my shoulders and exposed back warm. My husband and I got married in a beautiful natural location, and the dress was not "too much" or "over the top" but just the right amount of classy and beautiful. The long sleeves and open back were just right for a 50-something degree day (perhaps a little on the chilly side) but I think it would be comfortable to wear indoors or outdoors in anywhere from 50s to 70s weather. Everyone - the dry cleaners, my hair stylist, and most of all, my now-husband, loved this dress.

More details - The color is ivory and it has a 12-inch train and the sleeves are fully lined. There are no "bust cups" in the dress - I actually wore the Good Lines sticky bra and it worked wonderfully for the open back. The gown is in beautiful condition. It was only worn out once in December 2022 for our wedding, and has since been dry cleaned and kept in the dry cleaners protective cover. The dress would still be comfortable for someone slightly smaller than me in the waist, bust, and/or hips (it was comfortably snug on my torso, but stretchy). It could also be comfortable for someone with slightly wider hips, but probably not with a much wider waist or bust. Note that I wore flats for my wedding, so the length is going to be good for someone my height in flats, shorter (in heels) or taller (and ok with the dress not falling completely to the ground in the front).
