The Dress
This lovely ballgown style dress has a modified (not too exaggerated) sweetheart neckline, a fitted bodice with an interior corset, back zip hidden by covered buttons, and is made of a beautiful ivory silk jacquard from a couture mill in Lake Como, Italy. This dress is very comfortable and stays put, which is great for a petite bride. Because of its weighty fabric, ballgown shape, and hidden pockets, it's both flattering and functional. I only wore it for a photoshoot for an hour or two at the beach so it's in very good condition, it was professionally cleaned by a wedding dress specialist.
Alterations
The corset has been taken in at the chest and waist, it has also been hemmed. I am 5'3" and wore 3 inch heels, so the dress is currently the correct length for someone who stands at 5'5"-5'6" in shoes.
