The Dress

This is the dream dress for someone looking for a boho and ethereal vibe! It's a strapless A-line dress from Essense of Australia. It has a sweetheart neckline and has a beautiful lace overlay that is truly stunning. There is a mix of French lace and cotton lace, which creates a lovely romantic and bohemian vibe. The color is not pure white but more of an antique white, which I choose as I felt it made the lace contrast pop a bit more. The dress has no cups in it but has a inner waistband that clips under your bust and creates a beautiful waistline, even if you don't have a natural one! It was very comfortable and I did not need to pull the dress up even once (which is amazing for a strapless dress!) The back has a beautiful button-up detail to cover the zipper. I wish I was getting married again so I could wear this again!

Alterations

I had to buy a dress 2 sizes too big, due to inventory issues, so a fair bit of fabric was removed from the sides of the top to fit my bust (it ended up around bridal size 20 but label says 24 - I'm a regular dress size 16/18). The hem was also trimmed and a bustle was also put in, but just hooks onto the back buttons so could easily not be used!
