The Dress

Dress: Satin-faced silk organza, lined in 100% silk habotai ball gown. The dress has been dry cleaned by Madame Paulette of NYC.

History: When I went wedding dress shopping, a dear friend pulled this dress off the rank, and I immediately fell in love with it. My husband and I were slated to get married on Prince Edward Island in July of 2020 along the ocean. The dress makes the most beautiful sound when you walk and reminded me of the waves. Our wedding was cancelled due to COVID, and with older parents, were weren't able to convene folks. My husband and I decided to get married just the two of us and dressed up at an Inn in Vermont where we took photos and had a dinner the two of us. This dress is looking for a bride to walk down the isle in it, and I am sure it will make you feel magical.

Alterations

Minor alterations have been made to the bodice while the hem was only slightly lifted to allow for a future, full wedding fitting, which never happened. The train is still fully intact as no bustle was added.
