Watters Marnie purchased from a bridal store in Brisbane for approx $2000 + alterations. You can search in Google for professional photos from the manufacturer.
Illusion neckline with a beautiful lace over the bodice. Pearl-style buttons down the back. Ivory ribbon around the waist. Champagne satin underlay and 3 layers of fine tulle for the skirt. The skirt and train on this dress is stunning!
This dress is really comfortable and I was able to dance and party all night long.
Alterations include:
- hemming (I'm around 165cm and wore an 8cm heel)
- slight shortening on shoulders
- cups inserted into the bodice (could be removed if required)
- ribbons attached to train to allow bustling. These could easily be removed or changed
Has been dry cleaned at Leon's - wedding gown specialists. There is some minor damage/discolouration to the fabric on the hem at the back, due to people standing on the train, but this is only noticeable if you look at individual layers up Close.
