The Dress

Selling a slightly customized version of “Harley” by Caroline Castigliano, from the “Love Story 2021” collection.

This is is a gorgeous A-line dress, featuring an embroidered floral lace stretchy bodice, and a floral lace embroidered lace skirt. The embroidery is sewn through with sequins, beads, and silver thread which shimmers as you dance!

The bodice has a built-in corset, which really nips in the waist, sculpts the body, and creates a beautiful silhouette flowing over the waistline. It is insanely comfortable to wear – and the dress has pockets! Perfect for the modern bride, who still wants a bit of classic elegance.

I asked for customizations to enhance the sparkle of the dress – in the form of a few more sequins and added silver thread sewn in to the embroidery, to create an even more gorgeous glow when twirling.

Sadly, I never got to wear the dress and my experience of it was limited to fittings in the Knightsbridge, London boutique only (which is where the photos are from - please excuse the black bra!). I would love for another bride to be able to celebrate their special day in it.

I’m 5 foot 3 inches, and fit into a UK size 6, 8, 10 depending on the brand. The dress was made-to-measure, and would comfortably fit anyone a few inches taller or shorter than me, depending on choice of footwear.
