The Dress

Purchased from high end boutique: Bridal Boutique in Calgary Alberta. I dried cleaning the dress so you can get a practically new dress with no imperfections!

Selling my beautiful French crepe, square neck wedding dress. I normally wear a size 12-14- the dress was fitted and I am more of an hour glass shape. I do have a large chest 36 F - so it has room for the ladies. I did NOT wear a bra and it had a lot of support due to boning on the side. My boobs are heavy and the dress held EVERYTHING in and up :)

The dress is two layers, has a satin liner and French (matte) crepe outer. It has a long train and I had a bustle put in and it still works.

In the photos I am wearing two inch shoes - and I am 5'6 1/2 without heels. Also please know I do have cellulite and with a pair of spanxs the dress did not show any imperfections- that's why i purchased this dress. I was worried you would see the spanx shorts in photos- you definitely DID not- which was a happy surprise. I will admit I did stuff my bellybutton with cotton (trick to not show the belly button hole that i learned from tikok lol) and the front was smooth. I wanted a crepe dress but often crepe can show EVERYTHING! Not this one- the crepe feels expensive & has stretch to it. The back is buttons with a hidden zipper so very easy to zip up.

I got married in Aug and the dress was perfect, not too hot and was easy to dance, move & sit in. It is super comfortable, has boning along the sides of the top so it makes it feel a bit like a corset. There are beautiful pearls all the way down the back and train and it has a bustle put in to make moving and dancing easier. The dress has a Square neck which is really flattering because it created a line across rather than cutting into your boobs. I also love the placement of the straps, it fit perfect right on the outer arm so boob flop wasn't an issue.

There is also a slip underneath that holds really well so you don't have to keep pulling it down. I ordered a size 16 to fit my hips as I have a smaller waist with a butt and hips :) Therefore please look at my measurement. This dress can probably be altered 1-2 sizes if needed. Trust me when I say this crepe is heavenly- its not that cheap shiny David bridals type fabric. I can't even describe how nice it feels. I was surprised this dress was only $2500 as it felt more expensive then the $5000 dresses I had tried

yes, the back is open, and trust me I have back fat but this does not pinch or show any imperfections- take a look at my photos- it looks smooth. This is because of where the back sits and thin straps. Because this dress has boning it does not pull on our shoulders, it basically holds up on its own- similar to a strapless.

Lastly, ladies, if you are a size 12-14 don't be scared of wearing a fitted dress!! I was originally trying on ballgowns or unfitted dresses and HATED the way I looked. I was ready to give up and the sales associated made me try on this dress. I didn't want to because it was fitted and I thought I would look like humpty dumpty lol.. as you see I did not, I felt beautiful. Just because you have hips/butt/chest doesn't mean you have to wear a flowy dress, unless you want too!

I wore a cathedral length veil and it was amazing with the dress- Shorter waist length veils also looked cute but I wanted something more romantic and dramatic. I changed into bow straps (similar to the first photo) for dinner to add some flare- loved the look!
