The Dress

This was the unexpected dress of my dreams! Lightweight and practical to wear despite its visible textures and tulle layers. This dress is perfect for those who like a ballgown or A-line style.

Designer:
Hayley Paige designs are described as playful, whimsical, and chic. Gown Details:
The ‘Elysia’ dress is an Ivory long sleeve lace bridal ball gown, V-front bateau illusion neckline, keyhole back with piping accent, cascading tulle skirt with thin double horsehair edging.

Imperfections:
Small tear at the hem which can be easily sewn back into the corresponding horsehair edging (this will not affect/alter the look or style of the tulle skirt). I have not repaired as it makes sense this is done when the next owner undertakes their own personalised alterations. The dress has been professionally cleaned.

Alterations:
Alterations were done by a professional designer dress tailor. Two small ‘B’ cups sewn in for support. The hem was taken up to suit the height of 170cm (including heels). Density of the tulle was slightly reduced in the under layers to remove some weight from the dress and to retain its overall proportion with my fit. The waist and sleeves were also slightly taken in.

Sizing (finer details):
Bust - This dress may not be suitable if you have a bust greater than a ‘C’ cup.
Sleeves – This dress has delicate lace sleeves suited to a bicep circumference of 26.5cm.
This dress can be altered comfortably to suit a smaller fit Eg. Size 6 AU.
