The Dress

This dress is so beautiful and flattering, the corset back really lets you cinch in your waist. I felt so beautiful in this dress, it was exactly what I had been looking for, and after trying on more than 50 dresses I was thrilled to finally find the one! It has elegant lace and crystal detail that give you just the right amount of sparkle.

What makes this dress truly unique is the fact that it can be worn two different ways and the change is super easy and quick! The lace "cape" that covers the upper back and cap sleeve area is attached with tiny hidden snaps on the front and back. I kept the lace cape piece on for my ceremony and most of my reception, but when it was time to dance I popped that thing off and my dress was a fun strapless.

The dress has a fairly long train, I believe 4-5ft. I have attached photos of the dress both with the train at full length out and also bustled. In its current condition, it is bustled. I did have an outdoor reception so the train got a little dirty, but the dry cleaners did a wonderful job with cleaning and there are only a couple of tiny spots at the bottom that did not come out. I am happy to send pictures of the spots to anyone who is interested in the dress.

Alterations

Not much was done to the dress, I had the length taken up I believe 1-2 inches (I am 5'3" and wore 3" heels with my dress). I had the the lace cape piece taken in at the shoulder/arm a little.
