The Dress
Beautiful champagne gold coloured satin dress, which is very elegant and timeless.
Very flattering off the shoulder style, and the corset means that you can pull it in at all the right places. The satin was beautiful to wear and flowed easily, and the train was easy to bustle. There is a lot of satin, which can make the dress a bit heavier, but I didn’t notice the weight and wore it throughout the evening until around 9:30pm when I changed into a party dress. The dress has pockets which was very handy too!
Professionally dry cleaned and boxed since being worn- paid $250 for the dry cleaning. The dress has not been touched since dry cleaning, leaving it in pristine condition. There are no stains or obvious faults that I am aware of. There is one small pull in the satin near the beading on the neckline, which occurred when this was altered and before purchase. It is not noticeable.
Alterations
The front V at the cleavage line was originally sheer material, however, I had it altered to include a small piece of beaded sheer material to make the neckline a little more modest as I have a fuller bust.
