The Dress
Ethereal and flowy handmade silk organza and chantilly lace over a champagne silk shantung. Handmade in Seattle at Cicada Bridal. 2015 Isabelle model. Gentle sweetheart neckline and fitted through the hips then cascading into vertical ruffles that inspire movement. Comes with a mermaid petticoat to give the dress drama and fullness. The dress is extremely light weight and easy to dance in. The ruffles flow so beautifully with the lightweight fabric.
Dresses from Cicada are handmade right in the shop. I wear a size 4. This dress was made just slightly larger than their XS sizing. Measurements are about 36" bust, 28" waist, and 38" hips. C-cups built in for support -- no need for a bra.
Dress was dry cleaned by an Association of Wedding Gown Specialists certified cleaner.
