The Dress

This is a beautiful wedding dress. Wendy Makin bridal designs is an Australian designer. Wendy creates her beautiful dresses using only the highest quality fabrics. I adored this dress on my wedding day, I felt gorgeous. The dress photographs beautifully. It's a timeless dress that is both glamorous and elegant. Because of its shape it is very comfortable to wear, I could dance and sit down without any fuss. It is ivory in colour and covered in creamy white lace making it shimmer and sparkle at night- gorgeous!! I had the neckline altered when I purchased it new to make it the sweetheart cut and was told it could be undone if you preferred a straight cut. The ceremony photos shows some of this beautiful shimmering. Adding a unique touch is the sewn in ivory ribbon around the hips that finishes at the back in a floor length bow. There is a tear in the lining of the dress, it doesn't effect the wear or look of the dress and could easily be stitched to fix.
Dress was dry cleaned shortly after our wedding day and has been stored appropriately in wedding dress case since. There is some marking at the very bottom of the dress, shown in photo.
