The Dress

Description - Gorgeous a line dress from David’s bridal. Top layer of fabric is a woven flower print fabric which has a really beautiful subtle effect when on. The bodice is pleated/gathered fabric and has a straight across neckline. The bodice zips in the back and has a hook and eye closure at the top. PLEASE NOTE: the hook is a little loose and needs to be sewn down. Internally in the bodice are cups and flexible boning, offering support and coverage (I didn’t need a bra to wear the dress). The floral layer of fabric closes in the back with an invisible snap to cover where the zipper extends down into the skirt. Dress has two pockets!

Condition - Worn once to my wedding, not dry cleaned. Loose hook at top of zipper, as noted above. There was a ribbon belt that came with the dress and small loops of string at the waist to hold the belt that I cut off. The ribbon that was used as a belt is not included

Alterations

Alterations - I did have to have the dress altered in length and around the bodice. I am 5’3” and wore 3 inch heels on my wedding day. Current dress measurements are as follows:

Top of bodice (flat): 16 inches
Waist (flat): 15 inches
Bodice length front: 10.5 inches
Bodice length back: 6.5 inches
Skirt length front: 42 inches
Skirt length back 42 inches
