The Dress
Mayfair is one of the staple shapes in the wedding dress world, the classic feminine hour glass. Created using clever corsetting by the renowned designer Suzanne Neville, the structure is flattering and comfortable to wear. The double weight silk crepe shapes to perfection over the form, flaring from just above the knee into a fuller hemline. It has a full train with no petticoating, but could easily flare fuller with a fish tail underskirt. A row of button through the centre back off sets it’s simple lines and allows the accessories to become the highlight if so wished. The dress can easily be worn with a lace, beaded or sheer layering for the ceremony, without losing its impact.
Mayfair is an ex sample wedding dress, with minor soiling on the hemline, otherwise in fantastic condition.
