The Dress

Jesus Peiro two-piece wedding dress in off-white/ivory.

Material is silk taffeta and you can find the dress on the designers website (search for ‘2271’).

The dress is in good condition overall and has been dry cleaned - the top is near perfect condition but the skirt (mainly the train) does have some marks/staining around the hem from general wear. They aren’t too obvious but you can see them if looking closely. Happy to provide more pictures if interested in buying.

Some alterations have been made to the dress - I ordered it in the smallest size available (ES38) and then had it taken in at the waist, the hem shorter, a little volume taken out of the skirt, and finally some straps added that my tailor recommended for dancing later in the evening. I didn’t use them that much as the top stayed up all day without any issues, but handy to have them as an option!

The top originally fastened with a zip, but I had this removed and functional buttons plus hooks and eyes added for extra support (I’m a 30DD bra size).

It’s a really beautiful dress and was really comfortable to wear all day, didn’t feel heavy and was very easy to dance/move in. The train is cathedral length, but my tailor added both a bustle and a wrist hook so I had a couple of options for pinning it up throughout the day. I used the bustle for most of the evening. Note also the skirt has pockets.

As part of the sale, I will also include the x2 veils that I purchased (I have 2 because I changed my mind at the last minute and went for a shorter, waist length one, 72”). This one can be seen in the pictures and is two-tier, ribbon edge. The other I didn’t go with is a single ribbon edge, cathedral length (110”). These alone are worth £390. Both are in perfect condition, the one I didn’t wear brand new, and just need steaming!
