The Dress

This is a current season dress from Phaes Eight's bridal collection:

Size 6, Ivory, 20's inspired wedding dress, worn once. Other than fitting the bustle, I had no alterations done as it fitted me perfectly.

As you can see, the dress is heavily embellished with shimmering beads and sequins. Although the dress is ivory, the patterned sequins gives is a nice silver look, which is very Great Gatsby in style. The cut skims the figure for a flattering silhouette. It's a full length dress featuring a delicate train, a sheer blouson top with a sweet heart lining and an embellished waist detail. A French bustle has been discreetly fitted in order to tie up the train (you can see it when tied up in the photo). Key hole backed and concealed centre zip.

We went for a relaxed, city wedding in East London and I was looking for an elegant dress that's comfortable enough to wear all day and night. This dress did just the trick, and so much more! I had such an amazing day wearing it, and It also turned out great in the photos, both in colour and monotone.

The main body of dress in immaculate condition. There are light signs of wear in the very bottom of the front of the dress and the train where there's some loss of beads and sequins. Due to the position of the wear and flowing nature of this material, however, it remains unnoticeable when worn.

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned. Additional beads are provided as well as original dress cover and coat hanger.
