I loved this dress because it gave me the perfect hourglass shape, had the right size train and POCKETS. However it was just plain satin and for an early spring wedding, I wanted a little jacket or bolero and some texture. I found some gorgeous lace and had my phenomenal dressmaker sew the lace on, complete with lace train, pearl buttons and a satin and lace bolero with 3/4 sleeves and pearl buttons on the sleeves. I loved knowing my dress was truly one of a kind. In all honesty, it is extremely well-made but the dry cleaners left a small stain on the underside of the innermost skirt.
Alterations
Added lace and buttons and shortened the straps. Made a satin and lace bolero that matches and goes with it.
