The Dress

This is a custom made dress (so no model/style name) by Tara herself. We emailed back and forth over ideas, and this beauty came to life.

Raw champagne silk on an empire waist bodice, with delicate cream and light grey florals accenting the right side and trailing around to back. Raw silk twisted spaghetti straps. Layers upon layers of champagne tulle make up the skirt, with slight shifts in tone and placement for a subtle organic feel. There is a slight cascade of tulle leading down from the back zipper, bringing the hint of a train to mind. This skirt has a very ethereal, floating quality to it, I’ve tried to show this in the pictures presented.

Incredibly comfortable, I had no problem dancing, eating, hanging out in this dress all day and night.

Organically cleaned and preserved a week after event, no spills or tears, should be in mint condition (have not opened box). The angora sweater is included ($100 value) for free since I don’t want to tear open the box to get it out.

This is a stunning dress in the highest handmade craftsmanship. Classic but not boring, it stands the test of time in its design, and though I love it dearly, it makes me sad to think it will spend the rest of it’s days in a box. I was a very budget conscious bride and found it difficult to to find something I loved at a reasonable price. I want someone else to be as excited about this dress as I was!!

Alterations

This was custom made to my measurements before losing a small amount of weight before the wedding. Only minor tweaks done to make it perfect a month from the event. Thin bust cups also added to bodice.
