The Dress

Bought from The White Dress in California, was love at first sight. Wore it September 2022 for my wedding. Have since had it professionally cleaned at Elegance Preserved in San Francisco.

This is a gorgeous dress, and a dream to wear. It's flowy and ethereal, moves and photographs beautifully, sparkles in the daylight.

It comes with super pretty off-the-shoulder sleeves, which are also detachable. No alterations or bustle.

I originally had been looking for "Kaia" (a similar dress from Lee Petra Grebenau that I saw on Instagram). After seeing both "Kaia" and "Margot" in person, I felt "Margot" captured everything I wanted in the best way. Luxe, flowy fabric, beautiful, natural, cascading beading.

I am usually a size 2 in dresses, and felt that the corset hook-closure in the back was a tight fit. For that reason, I would recommend this dress to those in US dress size 2, 0, or even 00.

I personally love the slight sheerness of the dress. I think it highlights the quality of the layers of fabric and beading, feels really pretty and delicate, and is a bit playful without going over the top. There is a nude bodysuit built in. For additional modesty, you could ask a tailor to add a lining to the dress.

This is a gem and would be a gorgeous addition to your wedding. If you want strapless, off-shoulder, beaded, sheer, this is absolutely the dress for you.
