The Dress

The most comfortable, gorgeous, dream wedding gown with delicate beading and signature Jenny Packham detail. Dress is called Honey, UK size 14 (approx US size 10/12). Purchased from The Outnet capsule collection when it came out. Never seen another UK size 14 so I believe it to be one of a kind or an extremely limited production run. Was perfect for my Alice in Wonderland themed Victorian-inspired wedding fully of whimsy. As someone who has never really felt comfortable in front of the camera, I’ve never felt more confident in a dress. It’s delicate but so sturdy and fit me like a glove like it was made for me. The beading and detailing is unlike anything I’ve ever seen before, and it was absolutely the right choice for a dress. I could breathe, sit, eat, and actually got to enjoy my wedding day.

Alterations

I have larger hips and a smaller rib cage so I took out the hips about 1 inch and shortened the straps just slightly, but alterations were otherwise very minimal. Tried to keep the integrity of the dress intact. I’m 5 ft 5 and hemmed to wear a 3-4 inch heel, so the dress length would be perfect for someone under 5’9 depending on the shoe height.
