The Dress

This dress jumped out at me for being a bit boho and understated, but elegant. I am not a sequin, sparkle, rhinestone fan and this had the exact amount of sophistication I wanted. I adored the train with its unique scalloped edge. It created a nice hourglass shape for me and was amazingly comfortable ALL night! I chose the ivory lining because it helped offset the beautiful lace pattern more than a white lining did. One of the pearl buttons came undone once during our reception, so I may try to make the loops more secure. Overall, I felt spectacular in this dress!

Alterations

In terms of alterations, I ordered 2 extra yards of the illusion lace that is along the neck, waist and hem and I added an additional row to the v-front to give myself a bit more cleavage coverage.
