The Dress
This Demetrios Cosmobella collection (style 7950) features exquisite lace which embellishes the bodice and striking back of this Mikado gown. It features a V-neckline, long lace sleeves and a luxurious a-line skirt with box pleats and pockets. Underneath the a-line skirt is 5 netting layers and 1 white organza/chiffon type layer. (I am not sure what kind of material the 1 layer is, but have photos if you wish to see). The layers add more volume to the skirt overall.
The train measures approximately 1.7m - 1.8m long. The measurement was taken from the top of the pleated waistband to the end of the train.

Alterations
Alterations include:
- A corset with boning has been added to the bodice and cups.
- The sleeves have been shortened and taken in width wise for a more tailored fit.
- Additional lace motifs have been added on both sleeves to cover the entire forearm.
- Bustle added (3 buttons at the rear)
- Hem length was increased by 2 inches. (I'm 176cm and wore flat Converse shoes).
