BOWIE IS A CREPE FITTED ASYMMETRIC LONG SLEEVE DRESS WITH A SHEER CUT OUT AT THE WAIST. BUTTONS TO THE SIDE AND SLEEVE ADD SUBTLE DETAIL TO THIS UNIQUE DRESS.
THE DRESS HAS BEEN PROFESSIONALLY CLEANED AND BOXED. THERE IS NO DAMAGE, NO TEARS OR FLAWS. THERE IS MINOR DISCOLOURATION ALONG THE INSIDE SEAM OF THE SKIRT BOTTOM BUT NOT VISIBLE FROM THE OUTSIDE OR WHEN WEARING (SEE PICTURE OF SKIRT BOTTOM).
I AM 5FT 10 AND THEREFORE HAD NO LENGTH REMOVED FROM THE DRESS SO THE HEM IS AS NEW AND UNALTERED, GIVING PLENTY OF EXCESS FOR FUTURE ALTERATIONS IF REQUIRED.
UNPADDED BUST CUPS HAVE BEEN LOOSELY TACKED IN TO THE INSIDE BUT THESE CAN BE REMOVED OR PLACED ELSEWHERE VERY EASILY.
THE PLEATS AT THE TOP OF THE TRAIN WERE RAISED BY APPROXIMATELY 2 INCHES TO GIVE MORE SHAPE AND DEFINITION TO THE REAR I.E. A 'BUM TUCK'. THIS IS A VERY BASIC ALTERATION TO REMOVE OR ADAPT WHEN TAKEN TO A SEAMSTRESS.
