The Dress

Made to measure, elegant and glamorous lavinia dress by Caroline Castigliano bought for £6,500 in June 2022.

Elegant and glamerous gown that sparkes in the light due to the hand beaded lace with delicate seed beads and glistening paillettes.

The boned bodice nips in at the waist, whilst the plunging V-neckline runs from the shoulder framing and lengthening the line of the body.

The fluid skirt has a soft fit and flare shape which fits snuggly over the hips and flares away at the middle of the thigh.

The dress includes a corset inset and cups, so no bra required. I am B cup, and the smaller cups fit perfectly. There are also two wrist hooks on the underside of the trail so you can tie it to your wrist and not let the dress drag on the floor. Extremely comfortable to wear.

I am 164 cm and wore heels with a 7.5cm heel. My base body measuremnts are:
-Bust 34 ½’’
-Underbust 30 ½’’
-Waist 28’’

At the end of my wedding, the bottom of the dress where it scrapes the floor naturally had some dirt on it but there are no marks or wear and tear anywhere else. I have since had it professionally dry cleaned, which took them 4 months to ensure they looked after it properly and did the layers seperately - so they did the job properly and it now looks good as new!
