The Dress

The "Spread Your Wings" dress by Reclamation is a stunning, handmade vintage lace gown that will make you feel like a bohemian goddess. The most unique feature of the dress is the gorgeous wingspan that frames the body when you lift your arms. It is truly one of a kind, and people were asking me about it the whole day.

Highly twirl-able, SUPER comfortable, very adjustable, effortlessly flattering (no need to suck in the tummy!). The dress comes with a separate nude slip ("the bliss slip") which also happens to be pretty sexy by itself. I sent my measurements to the designer in BC, Canada and she made it to order. That being said, the closures at the top of the neck and bottom of the back are both adjustable ties. There is plenty of room to make it more snug or let it out without needing to pay for it to be altered. There's honestly enough room that this could work as a maternity dress. I'm 5'8" and wore flat sandals, allowing the dress to drag just slightly on the ground. There is room to have taller shoes and still have the dress touch the floor.

I was married in July of 2022. The dress has been dry cleaned and looks new. As much as I adored wearing it, it's time to pass the dress on to the next happy bride. Something this beautiful deserves to be worn more than once!
