The Dress

This romantic, airy dress was my first choice as a nature lover--I loved the floral lace and tulle for the classic and elegant feeling. A great choice for a classic, conservative bride this dress is practically new--worn only to try it on for alterations. I purchased this dress with custom sizing from WishingDress online in Spring 2022 but ended up wearing a different dress for my wedding this past summer.

It has a Queen Anne lace neckline, a lace up keyhole back with buttons above the keyhole, is floor length and has cap sleeves. Technically it is ivory but it's more like a bright white.

The materials include satin on the inside (the thick satin makes it warm, so it's ideal for a cool weather wedding), and tulle and lace on the outside. The bust and rib cage has a thick ribbing.

I am usually a size 4-6 but my personal custom measurements were used to make the dress (see below), it does not have a label size. Then additional alterations were made in person by a professional seamstress such as modifying the neckline into a small "V" with the Queen Anne lace neckline. Alterations also include taking in the hips as it came over too big and a small tulle train was added.

Flaws:
The tulle around the hips does poof out on each side as you can see in the photos.
Some of the lace added during alterations is a darker color lace and different style lace than the bright white of the original dress.
There's also sweat yellowing around the armpits (trying on a thick satin dress in summertime will do that!).

Bust: 34.25 inches
Waist: 30.5 inches
Hip: 39.25 inches
Hollow to Floor: 54.5 inches
Height with shoes: 65.75 inches
Shoulder: 16 inches

Purchased for $235 (+cost of alterations) I am asking $175.
