The Dress

THE DRESS: This dress has a white lace overlay on top of a latte crepe underlay. It is gorgeous, was easy to move in, and was the perfect dress for the big day. I felt confident and loved everything about it.

CONDITION: On our wedding day, I stepped on the dress while standing and the strap popped off. Our coordinator sewed me back up and it was secure for the rest of the evening. For peace of mind, I would recommend having the strap fixed by a seamstress. There were also some minor tears to the lace tulle on the front hem of the dress (pictured). The lace is hand sewn, so in some spots, it has detached, which is an easy fix (pictured).

INFO FROM DESIGNER: There are no other words other than luxe when it comes to Ziggy. Her star-studded style is uncanny as is her nude textural tones. Her glamorous nature is not dissimilar to the remarkable celebrations under the stars of Positano or a serendipitous Ibiza elopement – there is always more when it comes to Ziggy. While less is more; her gown is understated with its simplistic silhouette, but the ‘more’ is imbued with the intimate lace embellishments.

Alterations

The dress was brought in slightly at the bust, the spaghetti straps were taken up slightly, a bustle was added, hips were brought in, and it was hemmed.
