I am 5'3" and wore a shoe just taller than a flat and it was the perfect length and wasn't altered.
The straps were taken in but not cut off, so the sewing can just be undone. I also had a bustle added. It is a 3 section bustle. Sending small bag of extra lace and beading that came with the dress.
I loved this dress! The mesh cutouts on the sides are very unique. They hit just above my underwear line so nothing showed.
